A map for locals and for tourists!
To be honest it's also a personal map to remind myself of my personal favourite places to grab a bite and enjoy it on that quiet little beach or hill overlooking the city.
So for now it's a food and outdoor based map, let's see how it evolves. Hikes and Bikes may be another feature of the map. Perhaps outdoor sculptures and art works but that feels like it deserves a map of its own. Heck even public washrooms would be handy to know.
You can turn on or off the different layers in the left hand menu if you find the map too busy. You can also change to satellite view by clicking the square map icon at the very bottom of the menu.

You may wonder if I'm giving away all the 'secret' beaches or nature spots. Well, I guess I would be IF you didn't have access to a MAP or didn't live in Victoria. It's what I enjoy most about the city - being able to stroll for hours and always being close to a beach or lookout point that's never crowded. Connection to nature within walkable neighbourhoods featuring beautiful homes, parks, beaches, rocky outcrops, mountains, bike paths, hiking trails, gardens and people.
