JUNE 2026: As stated below under Status - Aryze Developments in partnership with Redbrick will be putting forward a new hotel proposal for the same sit. Once a formal application is made MappingVictoria will create a new 603 Pandora Ave project page for the proposal at and link this original proposal for historical context.
Arzye has now launched a website Westholmehotel which includes the following update:
Engagement opportunities are planned for the coming months, including information sessions, neighbourhood meetings, and other ways to connect with the project team directly. The core vision has been established—a hotel at this location, designed to serve both visitors and the broader community. But many details, including the massing, programming and design, are still underway, with more information to be shared in the coming months.

March 2026: Most recent proposal deemed cancelled in January 2026 as developer has sold the property. Purchased by local developer Aryze Developments and local tech company Redbrick who gave the following statement to CHEK News:
“Redbrick, a Victoria-founded and headquartered group of companies, is partnering with Aryze, both certified B-Corp organizations, with a strong track record of thoughtful, high-quality work. Together, it is their intent to bring forward a hotel that honours Victoria’s past, contributes thoughtfully to its future, and adds lasting value to the downtown core.”
