May 2026 - At the May 22, 2026 Committee of the Whole meeting city council ignored city planner's advice to reject the proposal and instead directed them to work with the developers "to revise the proposal for greater consistency with City policy and applicable guidelines, refer the proposal to the Advisory Design Panel, complete a land lift analysis, and then return to a future Commitee of the Whole meeting for Council's consideration."
In a letter dated October 31, 2025 the developer responded to City planners' requests which include reducing height to a maximum of 12 storeys and reducing the density from proposed 6.48:1 FSR to a maximum of 2.1. The developer is standing by their proposal and requesting it be considered by Committee of the Whole.
