The District of Oak Bay development tracker indicates a detailed code review began on January 20, 2026.
As of June 12, 2026 the home has been vacated and a large dumpster is on site; likely for the large pile of remaining household goods surrounding the home.
The June 15, 2026 Business Examiner Building Brief includes an update for this building: "Tendering is underway, with sub-trade pricing under review following building permit submission of $8.5M December/25, ahead of a targeted summer/26 construction start."
