December 2025 - from developer website: "Saanich’s new Library and Affordable Housing Project has marked another significant milestone, as a development permit has now been issued to move the project forward. A building permit application is under review, and a demolition permit has been issued. Campbell Construction was awarded the construction management contract in response to a request for proposal issued by the Capital Region Housing Corporation. Contractors will be proceeding to fence and secure the site for demolition starting on November 17, 2025."
