Although approved, demolition of existing homes did not begin although two are boarded up. On May 7, 2026 the site consisting of the three properties was listed for sale for $3.9 million stating "The project is BP [building permit] ready and remains under the previous building code, providing potential construction cost savings and allowing for near-term development". As of July 31, 2026 the properties are still listed for sale at $3.9 million.
Mike Geric Construction is also the developer for 611 Speed Avenue which was first intended for sale as condos, then as an apartment and is now pending sale to a non-profit housing society. In James Bay they are also behind the 14-storey 108 unit proposal at 205 Quebec Street.
